I learned to paint because paintings are expensive.  Then I went back to school because nothing grounds you like effortlessly talented college kids.  Listen, I know it’s not for everyone but I love being in school; it could be because I am funny and an absolute delight.

When the written words are too permanent but the voice isn’t loud enough to travel far enough, I find art to be a freeing outlet.  I love being surrounded by pretty things so it is a great plus that I am a pretty good artist.

Having art in your home is most importantly for your viewing pleasure of course, but imagine the eminence of telling your soiree guest “oh, that’s my hand-painted Van Gogh.  You should see the Cezanne in the kitchen”
